It takes approx. 2 minutes to read this article

Fresh green lettuce is a source of magnesium, iron, potassium and vitamins B, E and C. In addition, served on the table looks beautiful and decorates the whole with its vibrant color. How to prepare it, so that it not only looks good, but also tastes good? Here are a few suggestions!

1. Butter lettuce with cream, radishes and chives

To add some flavor to a green salad, we like to pour cream on it and sprinkle it with salt or sugar – depending on your preference. In addition, we can add some sliced radishes and finely chopped chives to the salad and sprinkle it with fresh lemon juice – a salad served this way can satisfy any palate.

2. Salad with cream and sunflower seeds

Another way to enhance the taste of lettuce with cream is to add sunflower seeds. This is a completely salty version. It is best to roast the sunflower seeds in a pan without any fat beforehand. After tossing them in the salad with cream, add some salt and a dash of black pepper.

3. French style green salad

To prepare French-style lettuce, we choose our favorite type of green salad and prepare a special dressing – it will give the greens a distinct flavor. To make the dressing you will need:

  • 1 teaspoon of mustard,
  • 2 teaspoons of vinegar or lemon juice,
  • 2 tablespoons of oil (preferably olive oil),
  • chopped chives, dill and parsley,
  • a pinch of salt and pepper.

Mix all the ingredients together, chop the lettuce, then combine it with the dressing. Ready!
